@cjn60 @CuriosityonX The point is that if you take out most of the oxygen and nitrogen in a sample of Earth's atmosphere, its pretty close to the cruddy vacuum that passes for an atmosphere on Mars. It is close to the pressure on earth at 50km altitude. If you want to breathe, use your imagination

All children involved would already have been vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella, (in the UK). Vacc only available from late 1990's.

Ukraine will not, cannot agree to any great deal Trump thinks he can get. Vance is too ignorant, too unsophisticated in international relations, history to understand Russia and its attitude toward its near abroad. Ukraine is facing certain genocidal annihilation, cultural eradication and enslavement. Putin has said that is his goal. He might make some tactical agreement as he has many times in the past, but he'll be back. The only way to stop this is to defeat him and Russia, to humiliate Putin, to disabuse all of Russia from its hegemonic, imperial mindset in its near abroad. Which, perhaps, might give the Russian people a liberation from its autocratic rule if Putin is completely discredited.
