The sound was off. Very odd, but the sound could’ve been better by having a sound guy even? And yeah, singing didn’t sound great either but I wasn’t there. No voice effects..? hardly any singer doesn’t have something for that - but appears very stripped down here, and a cell phone video never gives a good anything. Anyone listen to Richie’s singles that have come over the last couple years knows, he still got it but this video is not doing him any favors.

Huge respect to this bad who is one of the few the survived the decades the rose in the 80’s and successfully adapted as the times changed. You can’t go back, who says? Well. Age says. This is a shadow of what I grew up on and absolutely idolized. I play guitar because of Richie. Phil X is not the same - a great player. But. It’s just not the same. Never will be. And I love Jon and think he a great philanthropist. One of a few. New fans will love the show. But I can’t go back.
