To @Delta Flight Attendant Sidney went above and beyond, playing with the kids, talking to them, and making a 5 hour airport wait a little more bearable. The gate agents in PBI are some of the best. Thank you to Delta and the whole crew who got DL2540 from PBI-DTW on 1/7/2023!

To @Delta Some of the gate agents and flight attendants turned into friends during that extra 5 hour delay. They played with the kids, passed out snacks and delta sunglasses, and of course, provided enough food vouchers to keep us well fed. 9/

This is where @Delta came through for us all. There was a flight arriving to PBI from ATL at 9:00pm. It was scheduled to sit overnight in PBI. Delta was able to use that plane to fly anybody who stayed behind in PBI back to DTW. 7/

To @Delta Unfortunately we had fewer options than others. With no car seats for the kids were were unable to go back to our family member's house or to the Fort Lauderdale airpot (about 45 minutes away). We were stuck with whatever options PBI had for us. 6/

To @Delta Just before boarding was to begin a gate agent came on the PA system and told us the plane could not fly. The same maintenance issue was happening again and it wasn't safe to fly that aircraft. Everyone started to scramble to find a way home. 5/
