In some good news for Canada, according to analysis by the founding editor of Bloomberg News, Canada is punching above its weight.

-It's attracting foreign capital at a pace rarely seen. Overseas investors poured C$256 billion into Canadian stocks and bonds in the 12 months ending May 31, making it one of the strongest inflows since records began in 1990.

-Foreign companies also spent more than C$44 billion acquiring Canadian assets in the second quarter, the largest wave of inbound investment since 2007.

-Canada also has the most significant decline in core inflation rates compared to the US and the EU.

@KM0331 She's such a tough unit. Loki would let you know if he hurt a nail and he'd sook for hours. This little thing battles through everything....which isn't ideal either, because it's hard to know when she's not feeling well.

My beautiful little pooch is out of surgery and we can pick her up in a couple of hours. Surgery went well...now to wait for the results of the biopsy...but so far so good.

She's going to be spoiled even more rotten than usual the rest of the week.

Today I join others from across our game and call for Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA President.

Infantino has debased the office that he promised to elevate. He has lied, deceived and tried to feather his own nest at the expense of the game he is supposed to serve. 

He has lost the support of his senior staff, his closest advisers, the vast majority of people who devote their lives to this sport and even, it would seem, the FIFA Peace Prize winner. 

It is too late to save his dignity but it is not too late to save football. He should go. Now.

@KM0331 She's doing great...a model patient. It's now been almost exactly 24 hrs since her surgery and I can tell she thinks she's back to normal. It'll be a struggle to keep her calm today, but I think we'll try a short walk later.
