After dozens of campers got sick, the Havasupai Tribe in the Grand Canyon is hiring staff to disinfect the campground’s composting toilets. The clinic in Supai is also open to campers who fall ill.

It's a 2-HOUR wait at the border crossing at Lukeville, AZ (from Rocky Point / Puerto Penasco). Much of the staff that processes vehicles was sent to help the Border Patrol with migrants.
Firefighters pushed a gurney up the trail at Papago Butte in 114 degree heat midday. The Phoenix crew was called to help a hiker (woman in her 20s) who's now in the hospital. She only made it 1/4 of a mile in before developing heat-related symptoms.

crews hiked a mile up Camelback Mountain's Cholla Trail, after a 49yo hiker overheated and needed help. The woman, a traveling nurse from the Midwest, was treated at the trailhead for dehydration.
