@Pairrot12@PaulTassi The fundamental issue in my estimation is that for some reason Sony/Bungie didn’t grasp that giving Destiny the middle finger would piss off a significant if not majority of the existing/potential Marathon fan base
@KonnorGLover Can’t help it feel like once they offered him in the deal, It’s hard to imagine a world where he doesn’t get traded. That’s twice in the last four years they’ve dangled him. Don’t know if he’s the kind of person to turn the other cheek on that.
@AndrewDoxy There really isn’t anybody out there that would solve that situation anywhere near as well as Giannis would have. Not necessarily upset they didn’t sell the farm for him, but the ceiling on a Tatum Giannis pairing would be sky high.
@CELTICSVSREFS Heat just traded literally every promising young player and now have a horrendously constructed team. I’m just skeptical overall about Bam/Giannis fit.
@giomadeit I don’t even know if all the stuff about this year, even really matters. I think conceptionally if you’re a player and your team has shopped you at least twice now, hard to feel like you’re really valued by them
@iinangelo Don’t understand how if you were seriously pursuing Giannis you wouldn’t try to offer a package that is at least remotely comparable to what the box we’re looking for. If the Bucks wanted future assets, you gotta give them future assets
@alpacinogrunt Literally just said this. If you were serious about pursuing Giannis, you were gonna have to make a serious offer. It seems like Brad was just not willing to give the future assets Milwaukee wanted. But if that was the case, why offer him in the first place?

@Carsobi Miami is probably motivated by what we’ve seen with parity and the league lately but based on the roster they have now and that amount of assets they just gave up, it’s hard to imagine them fielding a team better than San Antonio OKC or even New York.
