“I got my volume up and I threw six innings. Those are positives, obviously. The home runs were not great, but I kept working on a pitch (slider) that they kept hitting. They kept hitting it. I hate to say I told you so about Framber Valdez. Guy had a horrid final 10 games to end last season and is not much better so far with the Tigers. He's over the hill in his MLB career and Detroit is paying him $115 million.

The Detroit #Tigers are 4-21 in their last 25 games. It's been four weeks since they've won consecutive games. They are second-to-last in the MLB in saves (10) despite having the 10th-most save opportunities (26). Oh, and they're dead last in the AL in team batting average.
