Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.

I want to thank you all for coming to us with your concerns and sharing your feedback. However, some of the recent comments have hit a little too close to home, directly attacking our personal integrity and what we do. Some people may like us and some may not—that is simply the nature of life. But swinging at us with such intensity, intending not just to call us out but to actively tear us down, hurts far deeper than any harsh critique ever could.

Some of those using their platforms this way are well-known players, community figureheads, former collaborators, and content creators with loud voices. To see you use your influence in this manner is something we truly never expected. No one sees the years of custom artwork we have commissioned, the premium esports venues rented for our finals, the custom playmats purchased, or the endless hours spent on graphic design, stream production, and corporate networking—all done to give more back to the TCG community. What hurts most is that out of all our years of dedicated service, this situation has brought the highest level of social media engagement we have ever seen.

We have hosted events for various TCGs over the years, never for money or fame, but out of a pure love for competitive gaming and a desire to pioneer a new era for our community. We started as players ourselves. Alongside friends and rivals like Crow, we sat at those top tables years ago before gradually shifting our careers to pursue this passion. We hosted to give the community tournaments when there were very few, to hone our skills, and to provide a brand-new way to enjoy the games we love.

Battlecore’s X project was built to bring content creators, LGS partners, and players together to construct a premier competitive ecosystem. It was designed to create an environment where players receive real monetary prizing, mainstream recognition, and the chance to build cross-regional bonds in an authentic esports environment. That vision is entirely possible and achievable, but given the current noise, it is hard to see it as clearly as before.

We are going to take a few days to decompress, mentally reset, and strengthen our resolve. Thank you to everyone who took the time to personally reach out with words of encouragement and wisdom. To those who defended and supported us publicly: your words meant more than you know.

We will be holding a team meeting this Wednesday to determine our next steps. We are truly sorry for the chaos our recent actions have caused the community. I won't promise that we will never make another mistake, but I do promise that as long as I am a part of hosting these events, I will address your concerns as swiftly and transparently as humanly possible.

(3/X) The only thing that truly bothers me is players purposefully trying to take you to time because they don’t like the type of decks your playing. My recommendation to people is don’t ever be afraid to ask for a judge, they can only help you if you help yourself.
