It was requested and here it is. The updated progress map regarding Ukraine's operation against Russian Wildberries logistics centers across Russia.
The red pins, which are indicating a destroyed facility or at least inopartional for an indefinite time, are getting more numerous. It is estimated that 22% of Wildberries storage capacity has been destroyed.
Since the lion's share of those logistical losses make their so-called mega-hubs, the impact is actually even worse than the percentage suggests. The mass of small collection points and sorting centers are not mission-critical, but they are also not the pillars of Wildberries' survival, as the mega hubs are.
If Russia loses 4-6 more mega-hubs, then Wildberries will eventually reach a logistical collapse where widespread distribution will be rendered impossible. Meaning, Wildberries will stop to exist as an independent, operational unit.
Even when the collapse of Wildberries itself would make it a valuable target, the cascading effects are even more threatening for Russia. Wildberries is the single-biggest debt holder at the Russian bank VTB. When Wildberries collapses then it will deepen the banking and financial crisis which Russia is already experiencing. It might even be the first larger Domino stone.
Reports that Belarus and Kazakhstan might fill in the gap are coming out, but when checking my map, then you will see that Wildberries has concentrated its mega-hubs around Moscow, Saint Petersburg and other major cities. There are none at Russia's periphery and for good reason. It does not make sense.
Even if Russia makes those hubs in Belarus or Kazakhstan operational (and that is a big If), they would have only a fraction of worth as those which are currently running. Parcels would come with huge delays, if at all, reducing the logistical value of Wildberries altogether.
@RTLnieuws waarom blijven jullie aangeven dat het personeel binnen 1,5m mag komen? Het protocol van @KHN is niet rechtsgeldig, dus blijven de noodverordeningen leidend https://t.co/Y1oJhbxpxQ
@British_Airways I keep on getting a passbook error, looking it up makes it look like you aren’t bothered. Over 2 years with this issue and still no fix. Might I suggest you giving a passbook link in an email with the boarding passes
@AstridsTaste Als het goed is moet het geen verschil maken, doelde meer op het feit dat het de grootste belangenbehartiger is voor medewerkers, waar KHN toch echt zich meer richt op de werkgevers. 1% is gewoon belachelijk voor woorden
