It was surreal watching the launch of the# OdysseusMoon Mission early this morning UK time. My reflections and take on the #XPUNKS #NFT collection, including my XPUNKs collection, being engraved on the Moon are that it would be a groundbreaking achievement for several reasons:
For NFTs and #blockchain:
📷 This would represent the first full NFT collection to be physically placed on the Moon, marking a significant moment for the adoption and recognition of NFTs beyond the digital realm.
📷 It would showcase the potential of #Ordinals and the #XRPLedger for NFTs to exist beyond online marketplaces and enter the physical world in a permanent and impactful way.
📷 This could further legitimize NFTs as a valuable asset class and potentially increase their mainstream appeal.
For lunar exploration and art:
📷 This project would contribute to the growing #Lunaprise museum, potentially establishing the Moon as a platform for cultural expression and artistic preservation.
📷 The inclusion of both established artists like Picasso and Van Gogh, alongside lesser-known NFT artists, represents a unique blend of traditional and digital art forms, demonstrating the evolving nature of artistic expression.

The “arbitrary and capricious” standard is a very high and difficult standard to meet.
