Abnormal RV findings are common amongst those deemed low-risk by sPESI, and one in ten may experience CD within five days. One in five had CD within 30 days. The addition of RV assessments may improve prognostic value of sPESI. @JaronRaperMD

PE-SCORE model identifies PE patients at low and high-risk for clinical deterioration with a score of 0=2% outcome vs. score of ≥6=69.6% outcome. This has big potential to guide decisions about early outpatient management. @JaronRaperMD
