@lottiewraith It is truly amazing that women are expected to use toilets to feed babies or express milk. I'm glad you had a good response, that's just how it's supposed to be. Look how how little women expect, that's a learning process.
Reminder - our first #PledgeSouthTyneside coffee morning of the new year takes place this Thursday (16 January) 10am-12 noon at Big Local Jarrow (Cambrian Street, NE32 3QN.)
No need to book, just pop along for a coffee or to try a special 'Jarra tea'!
Brilliant visit from Greta Defeyter this afternoon. It was a brilliant learning moment for the #JarraTea. We will be working with Prof Defeyter to evaluate our tea and the benefits of the project for children and young people.

Our Council activated SWEP in Nov. The protocol makes sure that rough sleepers can access shelter during severe weather.

@basicincome We ask people to imagine if everyone was alright, and everyone around them was alright. If teachers could just teach, if social workers could support not just fire fight.. imagine.
#DigitalInclusion & business support comes in many forms. We've supported a 15 year old from #Jarrow to produce her first EP. #EveryCloud launching tonight at Bilton Hall. @STyne_Council This is a #UKSPF project.

These handmade beauties are the result of a 10-week woodwork course funded by our
#UKSPF. This money created our #jarratea
portable clinics design, saving the Tyneside wood shed that was unable to pay rent & enabled 10 people to learn new skills #SouthTyneside working together.
