@DyinginAbcan@ChristiFriesen I honestly can’t think of a grain company that started from scratch. Most, it would seem, start with relationships developed along the way, including mine. I understand why farmers are frustrated. Giddyupp isn’t Agfinity, and we’re here to help those who want to hear from us.
@BantrySeedFarms@ChristiFriesen Many good resellers and brokers exist. Though Agfinity is remembered as a 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘳, they went out as a 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳.
Great buyers aren’t always bonded; problematic ones sometimes are. In the end, sellers, whether booking direct or not, should trust whoever’s paying them.
@graham_s_letts@cmarie_dawson@ChristiFriesen@DoubleDietz @GrainGateway This will be my last comment (🤞)
There has always been two Agfinity sites: the pamphlet site, housing the blog, About Agfinity page, etc: https://t.co/uDN1JdPa7M;
as well as the trading site: https://t.co/9lpItxbfmf
The test site in question is specifically for the latter
@cmarie_dawson@ChristiFriesen@graham_s_letts@DoubleDietz @GrainGateway Cassie, it is an honorable thing to stick up for one’s friends. Domains aside, Agfinity’s trading platform might be their only asset and the test site does in fact have the GGC name and logo

@Wally_53@FarmerBoy9870@graham_s_letts@ChristiFriesen One key point of confusion is Agfinity switched from being a grain broker to a grain dealer two years ago. For 12 years they simply connected sellers to buyers, many of which were L&B, without taking ownership of the grain themselves
@Christen10Brent@ChristiFriesen@EthanKlassen2 Hey Brent. While I used to work there close to 6 years ago, Giddyupp has no traders from Agfinity. We’ve been learning about their financial troubles in real time with all of you this last year.
Hoping for the best for all the farmers, businesses and employees owed money
@KenStrap@ChristiFriesen @Agfinity Thanks very much, Ken. No hard feelings whatsoever. I wish more people were bold enough to use their voice and influence and look out for one another. I hope everything gets sorted for you and every other hard-working farm fam waiting in hope 🙏
@KenStrap@ChristiFriesen @Agfinity I know a lot of farmers are unfairly dealing with a lot of pain because of Agfinity right now. I wish I could help. If anyone wants to talk, please give me a call. I have nothing to hide and stand on the reputation of all my dealings, past, present and future

@KenStrap@ChristiFriesen @Agfinity A couple of years ago Agfinity switched to being a grain dealer, taking ownership of the grain they traded, and being the ones responsible for payment.
Giddyupp will never do this… I like sleeping at night too much
@dnlfarms@ChristiFriesen@BDuchek @Agfinity It’s because of fluctuations in the market. If you called every feedlot in Lethbridge today, most will tell you they are covered till August and only bidding on new crop barley. But if you called every grain dealer, you’ll get bids in the range of $280-290/MT delivered
