Les neuvièmes Jeux de la Francophonie ont pris fin, dimanche, à Kinshasa, en République démocratique du Congo. L’équipe Canada-Nouveau-Brunswick est revenue au pays avec deux médailles de bronze en lutte libre, et elle et a également participé aux compétitions culturelles des Jeux.

Les lutteuses de Fredericton, Vivian Kutnowski et Elena Sehic, ont remporté des médailles dans leur catégorie de poids respective, soit moins de 65 kg et moins de 72 kg.
