If you've read up to here, thank you! and pls do not give up! You really don't know how far you can get unless you try. Still, I'm far from achieving my goals, I still have hope or at least I try, so chase your dreams! There are only a few chances we get in this world, take them!
Day 220 of trying to start a business. While I stopped posting updates since April, I didn't give up (surprisingly, lol). I've completed the Google and Meta certifications as I said before, I'm working on finishing my website, and I have 3 clients too now! I'll post more as I go!
I also have a more robust 'system' in Notion, so I did achieve my goal of reducing from 7 apps to just 2. I'll post some pictures of my workspace when I have time. ChatGPT has also been a tremendous help, legit my mentor, lol. Overall, it has been a good journey.
As I said in earlier posts, I did go into digital marketing and completed the certifications. I discovered a peculiar niche and decided to pursue it. There's still a lot of work to be done, but as I progress, I feel that I now have some sort of idea about the direction to take!
Day 16 of trying to start a business. Finished the Meta certs, along with the Google Certs. I also managed to get the owner of a small auto body shop to let me manage their social media. Itβs a small step!! But pretty exciting nonetheless. Weβll see how far this goes.
Day 15 of trying to start a business. Faced some hiccups but that's expected, still going strong with the Meta Certs. I have some college work to do so that's also slowing me down but time management is key. Overall we're still making progress even if it's slow.
These apps aren't in order. Also what I mean by "abilities" I refer to automation, hopefully they add more features so I can make my workflow more efficient, I used to use 9 apps before, I brought it down to 5 as I started to do more research.
I work full time, so I have to accommodate college around my schedule but so far with dedication and discipline I've been doing an average of 23 college weekly studying hours on top of the 40 hours that I work. My goal is to eventually utilize 20% of my week in studying.
Day 14 of trying to start a business. 2 weeks! Iβve made some great progress. Iβve been working on the website, Iβve learned a lot from the Google and Meta courses. Overall I think for 2 weeks, Iβve made some great progress!
Day 13 of trying to start a business. Itβs finally the weekend, I felt this week was productive, well I tried. Anyways I expect to complete more Google & Meta courses. Iβm also brainstorming some ideas for a blog.
Day 12 of trying to start a business. Made some significant progress with the website, squarespace is easy to use. I plan to start a blog to share my journey if people are interested, I started another course for Media Buying in LinkedIn Learning. Anyways still making progress!
Day 11 of trying to start a business. Finished the Google ads course, I'm now taking a course on Facebook ads, media buying to be specific. Refined my Notion database, and currently have a better time management system. Overall I'm making some good progress as days go by.
Day 10 of trying to start a business. Working on finishing the certs in Google Skillshop, I'm halfway through the website, doing a lot of research too! Also I did receive a response from the businesses I contacted, unfortunately as expected, not much of it.
