@CollinRugg So what was Wikileaks in 2016? What was Comey’s unprecedented announcement of a Clinton investigation & silence about the trump one? The last 2 wks of 2016 voting period evry news channel & social media platform was 24/7 coverage of hacked dirt on Clinton. She still conceded…
@AviMayer@benshapiro It is ALL bad- in any corner of the political spectrum/ anywhere in the world and should be condemned in all instances. Kanye has more followers on Twitter alone than the entire Jewish population. The climate for Jewish ppl you stated is why his words r that much more important
@benshapiro It’s not threatening removal of weaponry (already promised by congress) from an ally in EXCHANGE FOR DIRT ON YOUR POLITICAL OPPONENT. Please don’t play stupid, there’s a huge difference when what you are asking a foreign leader for is to get you dirt on your opponent
@MeghanMcCain@DailyMail What we don’t need is more thoughts and prayers and excuses for not passing laws/regulations on gun and ammunition sales. No right in the constitution is without its limits. In what world is it illegal for you to consume alcohol under age 21 but fine to buy rifles!?
@Down_W_Tatmadaw@MeghanMcCain Yes, Yemen is also hell on earth atm . I do think this is much more visible bc A)it’s the FASTEST growing refugee crisis in a LONG time and B)reporters are in Ukraine w/live coverage whereas Bashar Al Asad obviously never let us in. That said all these deserve our equal attention
@MeghanMcCain Is this actual judgement? People may say they would stay and fight but literally no one can say what they would do unless they were in that position. It is a gut wrenching impossible choice and many factors will matter (leadership, chance of victory, danger of retaliation etc)
@TheDailyShow There’s of course racial disparity in some of EU but also important to point out that while Syrian neighbors (Jordan/Lebanon/Iraq/Egypt/Turkey) took in refugees- the nearby Gulf states refused to do so. Talking about Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar. What’s their excuse?
@TheDailyShow War brings out the best & worst instincts in ppl. Both should be pointed out truthfully. In the midst of all this I hope no one forgets that Putin is responsible for both this refugee crisis as well as the one in Syria (Putin helped Bashar al-Assad viciously decimate his own ppl)
@TheDailyShow Not new, in WW2 America turned away Jews fleeing Holocaust & sent them back to die in gas chambers. But for some context 1/3 of Syrian refugees are in EU nations (mainly Germany & Sweden) while the rest are in neighboring countries to Syria (turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt)
@TuckerCarlson Btw I don’t remember you caring about the innocent population of Iran? Why were sanctions justified against their people but not the people of Russia? In 2012 you literally stated ‘Iran deserves to be annihilated.’ Only thing consistent about you is your hypocrisy
@TuckerCarlson And yes of course there are innocent Russians. Putin deals ruthlessly with them and has no compunction about imprisoning, torturing or poisoning them. By starting this war he is responsible for hurting them even more
@TuckerCarlson By your idiotic logic we don’t need consequences for anything, why prosecute criminals if they’ll continue committing crimes? Why register child molestors as sex offenders if it won’t stop them? Why not let Putin just keep taking over countries until we’re dragged in2 war?
@TuckerCarlson What’s the point?? The point is when a nation goes in unprovoked to brutally take over a free nation (while committing war crimes agnst civilians) the world stands up and says there’s a price to pay for that. We isolate them. We don’t do business w/them. We send a clear message.
@CedricLeighton@TheLeadCNN@jaketapper@juliaioffe@SangerNYT Yes exactly. And oil companies are private are they not? We are considering prohibiting those companies from doing business in Russia so why can’t we do the same with tech/advertising companies. I’m sure it’s not as simple as all that but strange it’s not even a discussion.
@Nowherevilleman @Acyn@MeghanMcCain@TuckerCarlson I think he must of had some pushback thankfully from boomers in his audience and hopefully from the network too bc his tone shifted in one day so much. It’s a dangerous reckless game he’s playing though and you r right ppl don’t remember 😞
@PainfulTruth000@MeghanMcCain Again no good solution tbh that being said Russia does not want to be locked out of international finance and forced to resort to crypto currency. Businesses will be wary and upset about it and they will lose money. China too knows that crashing the US dollar hurts them as well
@PainfulTruth000@MeghanMcCain There is no good answer. It’s easy for commentators like @MeghanMcCain to criticize without providing solutions. It’s easy go say we are being too hard or we are too soft, but each decision has its pros and cons.
