@kellyannd1999 I often do the same thing too. I love to read what others are saying and how people are interacting with one another (hopefully it be in a positive way!)
I agree with Gordon who says that Facebooks “like” button and “share” button are the least interactive tools in compared to the “comment” button, which allows for more interaction between users
@eligruenwald9 Very well said and I definitely agree that social media has been a great addition in spreading important information and connecting so many communities together
@anna_vallieres Very good point! It is important for students to be aware of what is happening in other parts of the world. This helps students develop skills such as empathy and relationship building
@SteptoJayme Definitely agree with you! There are also so many other forms of media, that children are exposed to that also have their issues. If you scrutinize them down to its very core, as so many do with Disney, you will surely find it
@kimia0usia I believe their understanding and awareness is not as complex as an adult, however children do absorb these messages, as they connect to the characters. In fact, we see them mirroring what’s portrayed on screen through their play and interactions
@MallouhBassel I don’t think so, I know many people who also do not like, or rather have never watched Disney movies as a child. However, this number seems to be relatively low.
@eligruenwald9 Yes, as much as we can criticize Disney films, and we certainly do, we cannot overlook its ability to provide individuals, of all age’s true enjoyment
I have personally seen, as many have as well how children’s play have become so centered around movie scenes, and I agree that children’s play often looks so similar due to this. There is no imagination involved if they are solely replicating what’s seen on screen #Lesson11
Definitely agree with the documentary in so far as Disney has a responsibility to educate its viewers, especially the young ones on the important values they uphold #Lesson11
