@DaleVince No, we can’t forget that, but for some reason they can claim to have created all the upside economic movement, politically you can’t have it both ways. It’s either all as a result of the Tories foundations, or none of it is.
@Keir_Starmer For those that don’t know, this includes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia. The highway outside my house has a pothole as big as a football, and you’re going to sort that lot out. Awesome. 🙌
@SteveReedMP@mtpennycook Absolutely ridiculous statement from someone without a clue. The housing industry is all but dead. From SME’s to major developers. Just read the statistics. 📉 you didn’t have a chance 18 months ago, you’ve 3.5 years left. Your tweet won’t age well.
@SusieTa32510601@SteveReedMP@mtpennycook This is unfortunately down to viability. Authorities in the north of England are asking permission from the Government to spend brownfield grants on greenfield schemes, just to make greenfield schemes half viable. Brownfield schemes are all but dead. Years of neglect.
@SteveReedMP A staggering lack of basic comprehension regarding the complexities of the housing market. Build what? Where and for whom. Housing sales at an all time low, profits almost non existent, workmen and sub-contractors leaving the industry in droves. A pathetic comment.
@JonathanBrash Just to state a point. Top Gear made over £50m annually for the BBC under the Clarkson era. I’m just stating a fact. I’m sure they took his salary out of that.
@RachelReevesMP The economy is just about to tank and every metric is telling you so. You’ve broken every chance we had at growth and stability through poor policy.
@connor_naismith@AngelaRayner She’s the Deputy Prime Minister for goodness sake, not some wet behind the ear school kid. Of course she should have known the tax laws. They aren’t complicated. She was looking to avoid paying tax either by evasion or avoidance. It’s hypocritical at the very least.
@Loriagne2 I’m 100% with you on that, but the fear is that they will be prepared to take the chance if things don’t start getting noticeably better. We are a country on the knife edge of losing itself 😔
@Philmoorhouse76 The same statistics, that unfortunately, but not surprisingly, are omitted, show a significant increase in
Rape,
Sexual Assault
Gun Crime
And shoplifting.
Perhaps it’s not as uplifting as it first appeared
@bmay@MayorofLondon The statistics for the same period reflect a worrying increase in 1) Rape, 2) Gun Crime 3) shoplifting and 4) sexual assault. When it comes to statistics, the rule is - show em all or don’t show any of em.
@UKLabour Then stop talking about him. You are feeding and creating a monster. If you don’t find him a threat, bloody ignore him. His relevance would go away if you focussed on your own success. You are placing so many of the electorate on a notional “fence” it worries me.
@UKLabour GDP down, Unemployment up, inflation nearly double what you predicted and consumer confidence worse than it’s ever been. I’m not sure we want to take “your steps” in the right direction.
@Camoron_Dave@GBNEWS However, when you talk about the KPI’s that matter, GDP fell, unemployment went up, inflation nearly double the target and consumer confidence at its lowest level for years. Let’s talk about the stuff that matters, not this whole smoke and mirrors misdirection. .
@Keir_Starmer What about blaming the companies who hire them with massive fines and threats of closure. It’s not the immigrants fault he wants to make money. It’s the company that allows it.
