We would work in the beginning of the year and bank up to 5 days of overtime worked out to an extra 2 weeks off a year. Still taxed the same but having the time was more important than the $$

@RJOEFISH @Shawnquennevil4 @FringedCanuck If you’re being paid time and a half or say double time if you take the cash you’re going to end up with more of it being taxed yes you will get some of it back . Taking the time in lieu gives you the same pay cheque but gives you more time to take a vacation or extend one.
