@ChrisCoop_ Give him & the coaches all credit for the changes he made this offseason, but Jones was a much better prospect, Martin hit 14 HR’s last season and he hit 222. This entire season he has been a new hitter.

@VirginiaYankee1 @BobbyMilone29 My one big hope is learning from Judge on laying off the low pitches which is his biggest flaw as a hitter. Yes he is always going to swing and miss at pitches in the zone but if he can stop chasing at the off speed down, he will take a leap.

Luis Puello has two HR’s and 6 RBI’a for Tampa so far tonight. The first to right center for a GS and then a two run shot to left center. He’s only 20 now with 7 HR’s in 32 games. He’s been playing left field besides catching. @VirginiaYankee1 @YankeesFarm

@VirginiaYankee1 Keep an eye on Aguilar, when you see where he is hitting, and everything for his age, he’s 16 until August. I think he was not expensive but he’s also a two way player according to @YankeesFarm .

@YankeesFarm He’s now playing & is batting right behind all the big hitters in the DNYY lineup, so I think they must really like him. A kid to keep an eye on for sure especially if they let him pitch as well. He’s 16 until Aug so maybe they keep him off the mound for now.

@marcuszappia @VirginiaYankee1 Pretty much at every level we are seeing significant improvement in power from guys new to the system and guys who have been here for many years. The FCL & DSL guys should be moved to the FCL & low A respectively.

@ChrisCoop_ Good report, but I will disagree on one topic his high sliders, as @dcone36 says, a high slider can be a very effective pitch if thrown where you want to. He struck out lefties with it high and inside, hitters have a hard time hitting that pitch when it’s up.

@YankeesFarm @BobbyMilone29 Players in the DSL do not hit 7 HR’s in 10 games, like ever, he needs to be in Tampa, get him over here Yankees. He has 14 extra base hits in 10 games, come on him, Torres & Miranez need to be challenged.

@VirginiaYankee1 There is confusion here, he was never off the IL on his profile page, I looked the day he was in the lineup and he was still on it. He was on a rehab assignment just like guys in the majors are when they go to the minors. I hope he is backs soon.

@VirginiaYankee1 @YankeesFarm The 6th a quiet quick one with two groundouts and a hump back liner to second base. Still hitting 95 with his fastball. I think those should be the last pitches he throws in Low A, I hope the Yankees agree with me and send him to High A

Henry Lalane has as high a ceiling as any Yankees pitcher, & he looks like he’s back, hitting 96 97 & with his slider & change looking good.@VirginiaYankee1 @YankeesFarm He should not be on any of these trade lists. I don’t care if he needs to be protected.

@VirginiaYankee1 @YankeesFarm A lead off single to start the 5th & then a stolen base, he followed that up by striking out the side, two swinging on high sliders one to a lefty again right on the corner on the outside. 77 pitches through 5 with 9k’s 2 walks & a single & double allowed.

@jbrophybaseball I think it was because of his last two injury plagued seasons for why he was not protected last off season.
I don’t think there is any chance he’s not protected if he’s healthy now.
