Last Friday, in the middle of a stressful incident, I tweeted a harsh and overly critical comment regarding the @RochesterNYPD and for that I am sincerely sorry. It was an immediate, not well thought out, reaction to the situation I found myself in at the time.

Thank you all for your responses. The tire flew off and damaged another car. Mine was not moveable. I was blocking traffic in the dark and I was concerned about the safety of other motorists.The tow truck took an hour to arrive. I was taught that police fill out accident reports.

So @RochesterNYPD are we just supposed to fend for ourselves when our car loses a tire in the middle of Goodman and sits there blocking traffic? Are accident reports not a thing anymore? I called 911 twice and have been waiting 45 minutes now.

This might be my favorite building in Ithaca. Tiny, simple, but screens a parking lot, creates a lovely courtyard, and provides much better coffee than the conference 😉☕️
