@cloutcowboy@godspeed_aflame There is absolutely no anecdotal evidence you provide that will change that. You absolutely did not eat more calories, do less activity, and lost more weight. I believe thats what you think you did, but that isnt reality.
@cloutcowboy@godspeed_aflame You can eat 2000kcal of any food you want, literally anything at all, and sit in bed all day, if you burn 2100kcal, you're in a deficit and youll lose weight. Obviously, certain foods help with things like hunger, but at its core, you cannot argue with thermodynamics.
@airbrushpen@godspeed_aflame How is it not practical advice to tell someone to burn more calories than they consume? That is literally the most practical advice you can give.
@Beechtreefun@FaithAndFunz@thetimes 'You still have to eat very little' this mindset is why you cant lose weight. You should never be eating 'very little', you should just make better food choices. If you starve yourself you're just going to crack eventually and over-eat to compensate. Find the balance.
@_mrseras@itsbighonkin Ive walked more than 10k steps every single day, without fail, for the whole of 2026 so far. I work 12 hours a day AND go to the gym on top of that. Its not hard to walk.
