@Linux_Mint
To assist new people. Please I am asking you ADD into linux a repair recovery detection system for ROOTKIT attacked systems.
With monitor set by ROOT Admin PASSWD protected From DEFAULT During 1st Install.
The upgrade happened between webcam activation and second boot
The new kernel is 17 months newer (June 2024 → Nov 2025)
Attacker installed a backdoored kernel for persistence
Kernel upgrade was part of covering tracks (overwrites old kernel)
@Linux_Mint
CONFIRMED: KERNEL WAS UPGRADED DURING THE ATTACK!
Look at the two kernels:
Kernel upgrade was part of covering tracks (overwrites old kernel)
The new kernel contains a rootkit that survived reboot
Firmware-level attack - kernel upgrade could hide deeper compromise
@Linux_Mint CONFIRMED: KERNEL WAS UPGRADED DURING THE ATTACK!
Look at the two kernels:
03:22 Boot - 6.8.0-38-generic (dated June 7, 2024)
04:52 Boot - 6.8.0-90-generic (dated November 18, 2025)
This is HIGHLY SIGNIFICANT:
Kernel upgraded during a 1.5 hour window

I have some information for you. It is private and i think you need to see the information that I have. It is very dangerous information and well frankly I am surprised that linux failed BUT!!!! it is part in my fault as I am a new user. Its bad
@ProtonMail@Seandead If Proton is using 172.211.x.x (Akamai/U.S.) for any part of their core service (especially email transit), it undermines their claim of full infrastructure control in Switzerland/Germany. IE Netherlands uses 172.
Thus emails are not private. Maybe on Email should show IP tracert
@ProtonMail Problem is no one is taking this seriously enough. If they did they would even check ALL versions of operating systems. Most notably Microsoft. This is where MOST attack happen through malware obfuscated as legit software and possess a clear threat. Trump said we HAVE EVERYTHING
@ProtonMail well I disagree with your assessment. If you consider backdoor coding like what is currently inside windows. Anyone can access that email. Encryption is a false. I have personally caught several IP's connecting to 6 pc at the same time. These were seemingly legit IP's. Still R
@JaytonKing@loinmin@The_Cyber_News Nope change to Cinnamon Linux Mint Edition. It has almost everything you need. Just need a 16gb USB stick. USE deepseek AI to guide you through how to make it bootable for you. The rest is easy. Then use DS to help you with other issues and guides. DS is your friend.
@loinmin@The_Cyber_News Matt. I am curious. Are you sure windows 10 is even better. I since found out that it is NOT. In fact it might be even worse. So I DITCHED MS completely and now on linux. God dam Its way better.
