RUMOR: PlayStation 6 is speculated to be a very powerful console with up to 80TFLOPS🚀
✅Custom RDNA 5 architecture from AMD based on the company's next graphic architecture.
✅Chip produced by TSMC and manufactured in 3nm for more efficiency and performance with contained consumption.
✅54 Compute Units, which are less than some graphics of the moment but, being more modern, they would work at very high frequencies.
✅3.6 GHz
✅160 W TDP
✅GDDR7 memory with a 160-bit bus to considerably increase bandwidth.
✅Performance close to RX 9070 XT in rasterization
✅RDNA 5 improvement and new dedicated blocks allow great improvements in ray tracing and path tracing; putting it close to RTX 5080
✅34-40 TFLOPS, increases by Dual Issue for up to 68-80 theoretical TFLOPS (doesn’t mean it always runs at 80 TFLOPS)
✅PSSR 3 AI technology provides better visuals and performance without depending purely on raw power
This puts PlayStation 6 alongside high end PCs in terms of performance
What do these specs allow us to predict in terms of performance?
✅4K and 60FPS being more common
✅120FPS easier to achieve
✅Better graphics
✅Higher details
✅Greater density of NPCs/elements
✅More improved Ray/Path-tracing
✅Less performance drops
It’s quite impressive reading all these specs which seem to imply a big generational leap, though judging by this generation, current consoles are also quite powerful yet barely any studios were willing to let go of PS4 for 4-5 years of this generation, or push the consoles to their limits.
The differences were not very noticeable and many PS4 era games look as good or better than PS5 games.
So I’m quite skeptical that PS6 will bring forth much of a leap beside promising glorified tech demos masquerading as games. But I’m happy to be proven wrong.
With all that said, physical media and game ownership remains a key issue with the future of gaming, not to mention pricing, which some speculate to be around $1000, quite a jump from PS5 retailing at $500 at launch🤔

I have over 20 hours in Wolverine PS5, here is a list of lies vs fair criticism about the game.
The lies:
- There is no Wolverine/Sabretooth homosexual relationship in the game
- The blue trail thing is not on all the time
- You can fail a lot of times in QTE sequences but there are other other times it pauses or doesn't fail
- A lot of bugs I've seen are people glitching of the map and showing of areas outside of the main game. This is not part of the main game
- You can die in the motorcycle parts, especially on harder difficulties
Fair criticism:
- The white paint is too much, I wish you can toggle it off
- I wish Logan didn't talk to himself sometimes what do so, especially how fast he does it
- The game is too easy on normal difficult and the platinum is too easy
- The blue trail was too visable when it was there, it should be press R3 ro activate but they patches how visable it is
I really wish people could have a normal conversation about what can actually be improved about the game instead of talking about random stuff.
I will have my full review tomorrow about the game once I 100% on the hardest difficulty!
Please keep Greg Papa in your prayers.
Per @mercnews, the longtime 49ers broadcaster is battling heart failure and is preparing for the possibility of a heart transplant.
Sending love, strength and prayers to Greg and his family. 🙏❤️
PS6 pushing up to 80 TFLOPS? These rumored specs sound WILD. 🔥
GameGPU’s analysis of leaked specs claims:
• Custom AMD RDNA 5 GPU on a 3nm process
• 54 compute units clocked up to 3.6GHz
• Up to 80 TFLOPS theoretical FP32 with Dual Issue
• GDDR7 memory on a 160-bit bus
• PSSR 3 upscaling and major path-tracing gains
• A claimed 160W power envelope
If this pans out, imagine what PlayStation’s studios could build. 👀
⚠️ Speculation—not confirmed specs or benchmarks. The TFLOPS figure alone doesn’t prove it beats an RTX 5080 in games.
