Just for full transparency, here is how these models ranked for Carvana and CarMax from April-June. Clearly Carvana sells more of the models mentioned. $CVNA $KMX
These are the five models with the highest roll rates from 60 to 90 days past due.
In this case, “roll” meaning that a consumer who’s already fairly delinquent is now falling further behind, into even riskier territory.
Why this matters: it’s a niche stat, but worth considering when stocking these models and building deals around them.

@blue_chip1 You speak as if I don’t already do that….These research reports range from 15-30 pages of data.
Again, independent data provider just pointing out a lot of the secular trends you tweet are not always indicative of Carvana’s (and sometimes CarMax’s) performance.
@blue_chip1 What happens when a company does not closely follow what is being seen in the wider auto market? Hence the value of company specific data.
If I had a nickel for every time you posted a sector graph as a short thesis for $CVNA, where Carvana was not following that trend….
NEWS | Used-car prices jumped $1,300 in first half of 2026:
CARFAX data shows used car prices are running $1,350 to $3,600 above where they started the year.
Hybrids and EVs are leading the surge, up 11.9% or $3,600 since January, with the average now sitting at $34,117.
Middle East conflict is pushing gas prices higher, and buyers are responding by chasing fuel-efficient used inventory.
"With new car prices so high, and used inventory growing only slowly, I think demand should stay high for the foreseeable future."
What this means for dealers: Every segment is up, but hybrid and EV used inventory is where the real pricing power sits right now.

Chevy Equinox buyouts hit 92% in May:
Same story with the Traverse and GMC Sierra, both over 70%.
Nissan Rogue is the opposite.
80% of those leases are coming back to dealers as returns.
Means GM lots are about to be short on used inventory from these models, while Nissan dealers are about to have plenty of it.
