@mgrnjp The localization/translation company that got the rights to Pokemon back in the 1990s, 4Kids, was notorious for changing names because they felt non-English/American things would make children tune out. Like in the episode with his Mankey, they called an onigiri a "jelly donut".

@KoalaEnglish180 Lucky for me, I know in Japan "Baskin Robbins" is just called "31" (whether it's literally "Thirty-one" or "San-jyu-ichi" I can't remember though)

@ShitpostRock I feel like the only exception to completely change dialogue is if the intent of the scene is a gag, like the tongue-twister in Bakemonogatari. The original text is about motorcycles parked at a specific angle, while the translation is about a menagerie manager.

@_kobaji As someone also left-handed, I just learned to deal with learning right-handed methods for anything (be it sports, or devices). Also as trackball mice aren't that popular anymore I would expect options overall to be limited.

@ikanomaru I barely remember any of the episode by episode stories from Gaim, but I do remember liking the suit and weapon designs, and fight choreography. Nice to see they're still doing stuff for it.

@DoomedSociety1 @Pirat_Nation Tell that to the subsect that obsessed over "photo-realistic" graphics for the last 10-15 years, and the devs that forgot they were making GAMES and not MOVIES.
