Climate grief is real. I feel like I am pre-mourning all that we will lose and mourning everything that is lost already. As I make my coffee and then have a hot shower I think to myself: enjoy this while it lasts. Enjoy the little things, you will need these memories later. When the water is gone. Hmm. Still on the fece about this East of Eden. We'll have to see how it comes out. There's so much richness to Steinbeck's novel that I don't believe any adaptation can accurately capture it. I think the only director who could do it justice would be Terence Malick.
