@iainoverton@AmnestyUK I'm glad that the invitation has been withdrawn, but it shouldn't have been made in the first place. It's time to review my monthly donation.
@MrPMHarrison Agreed. Those in power, with the right connections and wealth, get away with corruption and not following the rules. But the vast majority of hardworking decent people have to follow rules and get hammered all the time. This imbalance and unfairness is so depressing.
@Peston@itvnews No money for public services but almost a third of billion pounds to send up to 200 people to Rwanda. Even if you are rabidly anti-immigration you can surely see that this is bonkers. But Tories alwant to rip up human rights, go against international law & ruin our reputation.
@TheGreenParty I was seriously considering voting Green at the next election but this and other recent media output from you places you aligned with the right wing media and the sort of nasty lies and spin we expect from them and the Tories. I'm not impressed.
@RhonddaBryant@premnsikka Will Labour repeal this if you are unsuccessful in achieving amendments. Some of us are losing hope that Labour will undo many of the laws that Tories have introduced that have impacted on freedoms. Labour needs to be more than "not Tory" (said as a long-standing Lab supporter)
@Peston Add to that the sheer incompetence of journalists like you, Nick Robinson, others at BBC, at Sky, client journalists like Hartley-Brewer, those at GB News, etc., who failed to hold government to account & were complicit in putting out false narratives on behalf of govt.
@BladeoftheS Really bad journalism. This is the sort of thing that provokes hate & violence in an already volatile situation. She increasingly is using dog whistling intervie but this is a major error. @KayBurley should be suspended for this @SkyNews.
@carolvorders@GillianKeegan My Tory MP blocked me. I have no idea why. I disagreed with some of his comments but was never rude to him. I agree that MPs should not tolerate abuse, but blocking dissenting views seems not quite right.
@MartinSLewis Is it now more cost-effective to NOT take out annual subscriptions to things like Netflix, Disney+, etc. & just pay for a month or two, once or twice a year, and binge watch what you want. And be disciplined about cancelling subscriptions.
@trussliz@tedcruz@heidiscruz If you support Ted Cruz and the Republicans then you have truly lost the plot. Their values are not those of true Conservatives.
@natasghar@WelshConserv Doesn't even look like 150. But even if it were, that's pathetic. A very small proportion of the population of Wales, let alone of the 400K who signed the petition. Perhaps now people are getting used to it, there is less opposition. The issue should be if the exceptions were OK.
@SamCoatesSky This isn't sudden. It has been happening for years. The media has been far too happy to play along, enjoying the conflict of opinions and complicit with the raft of lies because it 'sells news'.
