“What a season...

It began with an unforgettable trip to Abu Dhabi. Then life reminded me that some battles are bigger than basketball.

I had to say goodbye to my mother after her courageous year-and-a-half fight with cancer.

Before she passed, we laughed and joked that she would become our guardian angel on the other side and help guide us to a championship.

Soon after, we won the Emirates NBA Cup in Las Vegas.

Then came a historical playoff run. 16-3, We overcame a 22-point deficit with comeback in the Eastern Conference Finals, a 29-point comeback in the NBA Finals, and found a way through every challenge placed in front of us.

And now, we stand at the top of the mountain.

2026 NBA Champions.

Mom, thank you for watching over us every step of the way. This one is for you. The wait is over!!! We are forever Champions 🏆 ❤️ “
