@SMERSHPOD I *really* loved the LOTR review today - it was very similar to RLM’s review of the Star Wars Holiday Special - a rambling romp through every tangential connection to every actor & situation ☺️

@1jcmaxwell It really sucks for her, because she did such a great job as an actor - all the actors, costumers, & CG artists were amazing - it was the writer’s room that failed.

The overall plot was fine too - but obtuse writing and nonsensical story structure ruins so many shows nowadays.

I know they are burning ripped web streams from newsgroups and such, so the video quality is whatever they downloaded - but are the discs themselves burned correctly, or are too garbage for a player to even read?

When I go cycling in Gunma (about 100km north of Tokyo), I cycle by skips full of people dumping twine-wrapped sets at paper recyclers. I passed up a very old set of Akira - I heard them whispering to me - but they’re toilet paper now😩

@dloehr My daughter loves the entire Iron Man 1 through Endgame Arc. She refuses to see any moves or series afterwards -

“The story is over and the multiverse is bad.”

I think Loki & WandaVision are excellent, but she feels the story is concluded and they are just dragging it out.

@DJSnM If you are using stacks upon stacks of CPLs on the lenses, you basically get weird rainbow-colored images.

All my 2012 eclipse photos in Japan came in a variety of purples & greens - but not yellow.

I color-corrected it back to yellow afterwards.

4 years ago, beginning of covid.
No traffic jams, no traffic at all, the fastest I got to the stable ever.
My horse was skeptical about the mask and too it off eventually :)
Seems like it was ages ago.
