First time in school history& 19yrs since 3A GSL team has brought home a state championship. The closest this team has gotten as 4th last year & 3yrs ago. A lot of grit from these ladies. To the 6 playing on in college continue to enjoy the ride. @SWXLocalSports @KHQLocalNews

I rewatched the coverage last night and I 100% recognize Sedro is great! Commentators had little knowledge of MtSpo or the talent that exists. 6 seniors playing on in College at all levels including D1. They out scored their opponents 303-37. Congrats state champs.

10yrs I have cheered in these stands. 3 Jay girls through the program.They learned to be part of a team, the value of hard work &never giving up. They had hard times, sad games,amazing wins &celebrations on this field. All three have played on at college & I’m forever grateful.
