LENI ROBREDO LEADING THE WAY – AGAIN
In consultation and/or in coordination with Architect Paulo Alcazaren, Mayor Leni Robredo is assessing and conducting due diligence on ways to implement rainwater catchment or harvesting systems in Naga City!
This is already actually required or incentivized by law – that barangays have rainwater detention systems.
It’s Republic Act No. 6716 (The Rainwater Collector and Springs Development Law), which mandates the construction of rainwater collectors and wells in all barangays.
But very very few LGUs enforce or implement such law.
In Quezon City, Mayor Joy Belmonte directed City Engineer Dale Perral to install and operate rain harvesting systems on city-owned buildings, including schools, in 2023.
Recently, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has directed all local government public infrastructure projects to include rainwater collection systems for non-potable use.
A proposed, though not yet enacted, national bill, the "Rainwater Harvesting Facility Act," seeks to mandate these systems in all new public and private developments nationwide.
Sana ipasa ng Congress so even houses and private individuals can collect rainwater.
But in the meantime, Mayor Leni Robredo is taking the advice and taking heed of Architect Paulo Alcazaren’s advocacy for rainwater catchment facilities to be established.
QC and Naga City leading the way. Ganyan ba sa city nyo?
Sana all!

Started under Noynoy admin m, na credit grab ni Duterte at listed under "Duterte Legacy" project.

Many trapos did not support VP Leni in her bid for presidency primarily bec they knew that if she's elected, she would try and push to fix the system in promoting transparency and accountability, hence avoiding corruption.
In short, hindi na kasi sila makakapagnakaw. 🤔
Former Republican Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, Geoff Duncan just gave the most powerful speech yet at the DNC.
He just called his fellow Republicans a “cult”.
SINO ANG MATAKAW?
OVP budget under VP @lenirobredo over 6 years only amounted to more or less P3.8 billion.
Meanwhile, OVP budget under @indaysara from 2022 (Jul-Dec), 2023 and 2024 already amounted to more or less P4.5 billion.
If Congress approves her 2025 proposed budget of P2 billion, that makes a total of PHP 6,500,000,000.00 over 3.5 years.
Do you think there is no corruption involved? The OVP budget under Sara Duterte is too bloated for a spare tire position.
