A fantastic article in @TheScotsman about @JayCapperauld (who, we’re thrilled to remind you, is composing a new work for us for our 15th anniversary in 2027, complete with lyrics from wonderful @NiallCPoetry) and his work with @SCOmusic. 🌱🍂
Tune-in to @ClassicFM this Friday to hear a special concert from Balmoral Castle where @SCOmusic performed music from the Honours of Scotland for their majesties The King & Queen. Including my piece “Schiehallion!” with tunes specially chosen by The King. https://t.co/iF5d9Cjnse

Unless I’m mistaken, I believe @GylesB1 has captured the end of my Composer’s bow after @SCOmusic phenomenal performance of my piece Bruckner’s Skull at @bbcproms 🤩 (see spotlight & light blue jacket along the bottom left screen). A magical moment!!
Last night at the @bbcproms … you can’t beat it! (I love the @RoyalAlbertHall - in 1871 they cd turn on the gas lighting for the whole hall in just 10 seconds. Electric lights arrived in 1888. I love an old gas lamp. “As an old gasbag,” says my wife, “you would”
