@brandoninNY@SNY_Mets obviously having a true first baseman would be the best option, but that’s not the road we walked down this year. Trade deadline and next season who knows what this team looks like.
@brandoninNY@SNY_Mets Yes. My point from the jump was that he’s the best option on this current roster. I don’t think when Polanco comes back that adding more uncertainty to his playtime will help his bat be more productive.

@brandoninNY@SNY_Mets The offense has been cold all the way around. Even Soto isn’t really coming through with RISP consistently. Are you telling me that Vientos hasn’t been playing a good defensive first base?
