Candidate for Governor of Florida | Husband & Dad | Lieutenant Governor DeSantis Appointed | Conservative Fighter from Tampa, Florida | Army Green Beret (ret)
It was an honor to spend time with the veterans of AmVets Post #2 and celebrate the service and sacrifice of those who have given so much for our country.
A special congratulations to the 102-year-old World War II veteran we recognized today. Your life of service and dedication is an inspiration to us all.
Hurricane season is here, and in Florida, we take preparedness seriously.
@GovRonDeSantis, @KevinGuthrieFL, @FLSERT, and leaders across the state have been working tirelessly to ensure Florida is ready for whatever comes our way.
But preparedness starts at home.
Make sure you have a plan. Check your supplies. Know your evacuation routes. Talk with your family about what to do before a storm arrives, not after.
Florida has proven time and again that we're resilient because we prepare, we look out for one another, and we face challenges head-on.
Let's all do our part to keep our families, neighbors, and communities safe this hurricane season.
Today in The Villages, we launched Florida Seniors First, a commitment to keeping our promise to the generation that built Florida.
Our seniors shouldn't be taxed out of their homes. They shouldn't be crushed by rising insurance costs. They shouldn't have to navigate hidden fees, fight fraudsters, or worry about whether they can afford their utility bills on a fixed income.
That's why we're focused on real solutions:
Florida became the greatest state in the nation because of the people who came before us. They worked hard, raised families, built communities, and helped make Florida what it is today.
They've earned more than our gratitude. They've earned leaders willing to fight for them.
That's exactly what Florida Seniors First is all about.
One of the most meaningful bills I had the opportunity to support was inspired by a young man named Evin B. Hartsell.
Government should work for everyone. Every Floridian should feel seen, heard, and connected to the institutions that serve them.
Evin's story reminds us that some of the best ideas don't come from politicians. They come from courageous citizens who see a problem, refuse to accept it, and fight to make a difference.
That's the kind of leadership Florida needs more of.
I’m honored to have the support of Miami-Dade Commissioner @SenReneGarciaFL.
Together, we’re fighting to keep Florida strong and secure. We share a commitment to delivering results and standing up for our communities every single day.
Thanks to the insurance and tort reform legislation I voted for in 2022 while in the senate, insurers are reinvesting in Florida.
USAA will return $1 billion to eligible veterans and military families in our state. Through rate reductions and direct returns, Floridians can feel the stability they deserve.
I will continue the fight to bring insurers to Florida, because everyone should have support.

Headed to The Villages this morning to continue the conversation about affordability and the future of Florida.
Floridians are feeling the squeeze from rising costs, and it's time we start having honest conversations about real solutions. That's exactly what we'll be discussing as part of the Live Florida initiative, a comprehensive plan to axe the cost of living and make Florida more affordable for the people who built this state and the families working hard every day to call it home.
Looking forward to hearing directly from residents, answering questions, and talking about how we keep Florida the best place in America to live, work, and retire.
This isn't just a tool. It’s a symbol of the fighting spirit of our veterans, like the heroes right here at Hatchets 4 Heroes. They know that when you face a real challenge, you don’t just talk about it—you fight back.
That’s exactly how we need to treat axing the cost of living.
My opponents offer excuses. I’m offering a plan of action. It's time to take an axe to wasteful government spending that drives up prices and cut the burdensome regulations that are hurting our families and small businesses.
It’s time to fight for affordability. Join us at https://t.co/RPF9B34FNF and let's get to work.
Floridians deserve to know exactly where their tax dollars are going.
That's why I'm calling for radical transparency in government. Every dollar spent. Every project funded. Every decision made. Clear, accessible, and accountable to the people.
Government works for you, not the other way around.

Fired up after a great day at the Martin GOP Picnic in the Park! The passion from fellow conservatives for keeping Florida free and prosperous is stronger than ever.
We're in this fight together to ensure a better future for the next generation.
Growing up, my family depended on food stamps. I know the feeling of uncertainty that comes when putting food on the table is a struggle. That's why it's personal to me when I see grocery prices climbing while our farmers are producing more than enough.
It’s a national shame. The problem isn’t our farmers; it’s the broken system of red tape and middlemen between their fields and your family. Food security isn't just national security—it's your family's security.
It’s time to cut the bureaucracy and build direct supply lines from Florida farms to Floridian families, making sure the food we grow right here is affordable for the people right here. We need common-sense reforms that put our families first, not last.

I've made my position clear: I'll debate Byron Donalds anytime, anywhere, on any stage.
The question is simple: Will he?
Floridians deserve to hear where the candidates stand on the issues that affect their families every day. Property taxes. Insurance costs. Growth. Public safety. Education. The economy.
If Byron is ready to lead Florida, he should be ready to defend his record and his ideas in front of the voters.

Florida has led the nation by putting people first, and I'm looking forward to sharing my vision for keeping our state free, prosperous, and affordable.
Tune in!
I will never apologize for putting American workers and their families first. My mission is to rebuild our economy, control our borders, and ensure that the best jobs in the world are created right here, for you.
It's time to restore the American Dream for our children.
While insurance rates and home prices crush families, candidates can’t hide behind slick TV ads. We’ve made great strides in the last eight years, and we can’t afford to go back.
I'm challenging @ByronDonalds to debate me, face-to-face. Any stage. Any moderator. Any time.
He owes you answers about his record, not more scripted talking points. Join the call. Sign the petition now and demand the debate that Florida voters deserve.

Because it’s YOUR money…Are you tired of watching your property tax bill climb higher every single year? It's your home. It's your money. And it's time you kept more of it.
