Terminada la rueda de prensa de la vicepresidenta de Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez (que ya está en Caracas), quedan varias conclusiones:

1. El alto mando del oficialismo está íntegro. Diosdado Cabello, Vladimir Padrino, Jorge Rodríguez, todas las cabezas del último gabinete de ministros están indemnes.

2. El mensaje de Delcy Rodríguez fue muy vago y gaseoso. Hablaba de la necesidad de luchar contra el imperialismo, de activar el decreto de emergencia y conmoción, de soberanía y de negociar con Estados Unidos, pero respetando la constitución bolivariana, lo que da la idea de que en la alta cúpula oficialista no tienen mayor idea de qué paso seguir.

3. Lo que sí queda claro es que Delcy Rodríguez no aceptó el encargo de la presidencia y se mantiene como vicepresidenta encargada. Llamaron a la liberación de Nicolás Maduro como condición para negociar.

4. Que Trump haya elegido a Delcy Rodríguez y no a María Corina Machado para dialogar los primeros pasos de la transición política sí habla de que Trump, Rubio y Hegseth temen un escenario de conflicto civil que implique la presencia militar permanente en Venezuela, por lo que prefieren negociar directamente con el oficialismo, para evitar que la situación se desbande antes de que pueda haber algún tipo de respuesta militar directa.

Sigo pensando que en Caracas no tienen idea de qué hacer en este caso ni cómo responder a este ataque, menos cuando no saben si con este primer comunicado haya una nueva respuesta armada por parte de Trump, o si abrirse a un proceso de negociación y transición. El problema son los pecados que cargan sobre sus espaldas figuras como Diosdado Cabello, Vladimir Padrino y la cúpula nacional y regional de la FANB.
