Iowa Colony jumped out early and never let up Tuesday, rolling past Fort Bend Hightower 10-0 behind a complete shutdown from starter Landon Brown @Landon_Brown_6 and a balanced, 10-hit attack.

Iowa Colony scored twice in the first — Brown’s sac fly and Levi Abrego’s @AbregoLevi solo homer to left — then kept stacking runs in the second and third to create separation. In the second, Jayden Felder @Jayden_Felder_ plated a run on a groundout before Kalen Simmons @Kalen_Simmons2 delivered a two-run single. Iowa Colony added again in the third on an RBI double from Carson White @CarsonWhite2027 and an RBI single by Cayden Aguilar @CaydenAguilar27 .

Brown was in control on the mound, throwing five no-hit innings with eight strikeouts and two walks. Hightower starter Aaron Fears took the loss after allowing seven runs on eight hits over 2 1/3 innings, striking out three and walking one.
