The public has been misled.
A media campaign has turned an unverified chronology of the Mahabharata into “science,” suppressing data and silencing critics.

This is intellectual dishonesty, not scholarship.

A coordinated network promoted the 5561 BCE claim as proven fact while ignoring Sanskrit evidence and withholding the underlying astronomical data.

Crowdfunding raised before 2020 for a “neutral” documentary still has no audit or data release.

Textual evidence:

• Śalya Parva 59 : 21 CE – “Praptam Kaliyugam Viddhi…” shows that Kaliyuga was already running during the war.

• Bhagavatam 1 : 15 : 36 – “Kalih Anvartata” shows that its influence strengthened only after Sri Krishna’s departure.

Astronomical evidence:

• Saturn in Rohini, Mars retrograde and twin eclipses (Krittika Purnima and Jayestha Amavasya) occur uniquely in 3067 BCE, confirming Dr Manish Pandit’s chronology and disproving the 5561 BCE claim.

Lack of scholarly conduct

• Instead of encouraging open debate, those questioning the 5561 BCE claim are often met with mockery or are blocked rather than answered.

• By continuing to promote such behaviour and by giving space to ridicule instead of reason, Prachyam Media appears to be endorsing this culture of dismissing critics.

• If Prachyam values genuine research, it should distance itself from such conduct and insist on respectful, evidence-based discussion.

We were taught in school that Mahatma Gandhi returned his Kaiser-i-Hind medal awarded by the British to protest against the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The reality is somewhat different. In his letter of August 1920 to Viceroy Chelmford, Gandhiji wrote that he returned this and other medals "in connection with the Khilafat movement" of August 1920. Gandhiji wrote: "Valuable as these honours have been to me, I cannot wear them with an easy conscience, so long as my Mussalman countrymen have to labour under a wrong done to their religious sentiment." Jallianwala Bagh was "an additional cause for grave dissatisfaction". The Jallianwala Bagh massacre took place in April 1919. Gandhiji returned the medals in August 1920. So, the time gap in itself demonstrates that the returning the medals was not directly linked to the massacre. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

वाजपेई जी की सरकार जाने के बाद जब मनमोहन सिंह प्रधानमंत्री बने तक एक दिन अचानक लोगों ने यह नोटिस किया कि दूरदर्शन चैनल पर कोने में दिखने वाले दूरदर्शन लोगों के नीचे सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम अब नजर नहीं आ रहा है

लोगों ने कई आरटीआई डाली कई प्रश्न पूछे मगर कांग्रेसी सरकार ने इस पर कोई जवाब नहीं दिया हां यह जरूर है राज्यसभा में एक सवाल के जवाब में तत्कालीन सूचना प्रसारण मंत्री मनीष तिवारी ने यह जरूर कहा था कि भारत एक धर्मनिरपेक्ष देश है और सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम सिर्फ हिंदुओं की भावनाओं को व्यक्त करता है इसलिए हमने सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम को हटा दिया है

हालांकि बाद में मोदी सरकार के आने के बाद दूरदर्शन के लोगों में से वापस सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम जोड़ द��या गया

दूरदर्शन के इस लोगो को अहमदाबाद स्थित नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट आफ डिजाइन के छात्र देवाशीष भट्टाचार्य ने तैयार किया था उन्होंने ही नीचे सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम भी लिखा था जो यह प्रदर्शित करता था कि जो सत्य है वही शिव है और जो शिव है वही सुंदर है ..इसके पीछे देवाशीष भट्टाचार्य की भावना थी कि दूरदर्शन हमेशा सत्य को दिखाएगा

हालांकि बाद में मोदी सरकार ने जो फाइलें सार्वजनिक कि उसे यह पता चला ��ोनिया गांधी की अध्यक्षता वाली कमेटी एनएससी के भेजे एक पत्र पर मनमोहन सिंह ने दूरदर्शन में से सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम हटा दिया था और उस पत्र के नीचे दस्तखत करने वालों में शबनम हाशमी तीस्ता जावेद सीतलवाड़ सीताराम येचुरी मुकुल सिंहा जैसे धुर्त कम्युनिस्ट और अग्निवेश जैसे क्रिप्टो क्रिश्चियन थे

Amusing harbinger of coming times!

Here @Grok dismissed Oak's 5561BCE Mahabharata date & his main point. An Oak supporter tried to argue with Grok, but had to finally concede "im no expert" & asked Oak to jump in. Oak's reply? "You did great" to that supporter (i.e. had no answer himself to Grok)! 😃

To him, perhaps "doing great" just means arguing with Grok on his behalf (even if one has to concede at the end that one is no expert to refute Grok's point!). 😮😃

BTW, he's known to have blocked several people who poked holes in his dating. Perhaps time to block Grok! 😃

Bottomline: AI may struggle to judge subjective matters, but can NAIL IT when it comes to objective, verifiable & logical matters. This CAN make life difficult for fake scholars in such objective matters. It will after all be difficult to pass off BS as scholarship (which is common now!), just because one has following or funding or fame. Mind you, AI will evolve further in the next few years & become even more incisive.

Bottomline 2: I am sadly confident @prachyam7 made a blunder by making a one-sided propaganda film to promote Oak's date. What a disservice to Sanatana Dharma to push a VERIFIABLY wrong date for the most important event in our history - the Great War (wrong not by 100 or 200 years, but ~2,500 years)! 😥 Mother willing, they'll realize their blunder in future and make amends.
