@zillowgonewild Ah yes. In the Deer Crest Strip mining project.Inside joke for those of us who built houses in that area many years ago.When they first started putting up roads in the area, it looked like a mining spot. Looks like the spread things out a little more than when they first started.

@HotshotWake Looks like it started near or in Davis Park. Video from what looks like Northbound 395. Fire has jumped the highway and hit the grassland area near Washoe City. #395 closed both directions from Mt. Rose Hwy to N Carson City. Evacuations stretching in to S Reno W of 395.

@MichaelWX18 Wind is kicking here in the Carson Valley.Highest gust of the day 30 mph in town. At home anyway.Calmed down a little a few hours ago but now sustained winds around 18-20. Gust just now at 27mph. Mountains socked in. Waiting for things to get really tough this evening.

@TheJoeySwoll I've owned a gym and have gone to gyms for jeez.....40 years and have more than my share of mistakes that easily could have had me laughed at. Matter of fact,some did get me laughed at. And I laughed with them. Still have my moments. No big deal. Luv the video.

@Phil_Sledge Lucky the big gray kitty and Shelby the border collie. Lucky crossed back in 2020 and Shelby January last year. I miss them both very much.

@CphilpottCraig @CraigWilcoxMHA Didn't get photos of the river,but will rectify that later. One of the many sloughs we have here. Side by side photos of Brockliss slough. One I took several years ago and one this a.m. . 3rd is one of several fields/pastures flooded,(not by local ranchers for growing).

@CphilpottCraig @CraigWilcoxMHA Out this a.m. doing the annual Springtime pic taking in the valley. Both forks of the Carson River and the main stem running high. East & Main stem near action stage. Fields in Central part of the valley are small lakes in some spots and the many sloughs are full. Few flooding.
