Someone spoke earlier about learning loss and suspensions. We have to be realistic here. Assignments should be given to those suspended students. Whether they complete them at home is another story. #edchat

@dubioseducator But we are the trained professionals. There were many resources to use to learn the designated virtual platform chosen. We have to find a way. Use YouTube videos, tutorials or whatever it takes to adapt.

Learning loss is definitely real. Listen, the environmental challenges coupled with issues in the home (i.e., noise, poor internet service, inappropriate activities…) makes learning almost impossible. The pandemic caused struggling students to fall behind even more. #edchat
