A place to post stuff primarily relating to VRChat either being shaders, models, animations, or really anything that falls beneath the umbrella of tech art
Organized the namitape Megamix youtube video into a little mini album!
This is not official. I did this for fun so I can listen to it offline on any device in a a little baby album

Remade the Namitape Megamix cover art from scratch to fit in a square ratio!
I feel like this could be done better... mainly how the text is brought to the foreground...

Some really nice pictures of some subsurface scattering on the new shader that I've been sharing very very little of. Usually I share more, but idk I haven't quite felt like it. Also it's not perfect and can be tweaked to be better. Anyways, here is the thing!
This can be used for both direct and indirect lighting. I'm mainly intending to use this for indirect lighting. I'm just using a point light to make sure it's all working properly
I've been experimenting with creating baked shadows that react to the light direction using a bent normal map. I've been working on a new shader that heavily uses bent normals for a lot of really cool lighting effects. I haven't shared any of that yet, but this is a little thing
It's finally done! It's been too long! [OSC] VRC Pocket Watch. A pocket watch that can display your time, weather, day/night cycle, and be used as a stopwatch. This is a bit of a gimmick but can be useful

A little interesting experiment I did a year ago testing out ray marched projected cubmaps using an extra cubemap that stores the depth. Just a proof of concept. This is based upon the attached link which I think is really cool and better!

Alrightys all the menu icons are done! I might remake a few of them as they do look nice, however they don't quite convey the what the button is doing per say. Like for example the enable watch and open lid toggles could be better. They do work though, we'll see what I do
Working on the accessibility settings to make the watch more readable. Reading text in vr can be a bit difficult, same thing goes for a pocket watch. I think now all I have left is just more polish such as making menu icons and tweaking some small things and it should be good!
Favorite detail on the watch thus far! Having the weather wheel's detail uvs be offset by 0.5 when sampling the lookup table for the sunrise/sunset so it's still readable turned out to be a perfect solution to make sure it's always readable whilst looking nice and simple
Little update to the pocket watch. Also ready to be released. It's on the ground and not in the hand for testing. This has full easy to use gesture controls as well so the menu never needs to be interacted with to use and has ambient ticking sound but can't be heard in the video
Another little update of the model. Still need to do some more shaping to smooth things out. I don't know how much more I'm going to work this, maybe I'll just be a little thing I work on slowly over time. We'll see where it goes
Actually modeling a face for once. It's fun doing more organic stuff from time to time. Next I'm going to be working on giving the face more shape to make it feel more unique and adding in brows/lashes to get a better vibe of what I want to do. We shall see where this goes
Cool renders of a very low poly aviator goggles that needed to be below 1k tris for a project. Showing the final render, wireframe, and world normals with baked normals! I want to redo this model at some point, it could be even better :v
Cool renders of the Runa compute module I did a bit ago! Showing the final render, wireframe, and world normals with baked normals! I'm really happy with how this one turned out!
