Imagine being 16 -years -old and this was your bedroom in your new home supplied by the local authorities. This is the reality for many young people (not all) in our care system facing uncertainty. 2/2 - I was terrified starting in an acute setting, and never considered it as a future practice setting before I started.
I couldn’t have been more wrong, loved every moment, felt every emotion under the sun & didn’t want to leave.

1/2- Had an incredible Placement 2 on an acute neurology ward @ RDH. Learnt a ridiculous amount, developed some important core OT skills & found another area of practice I love.

Saw an interesting post once stating that a hidden cost of autism is constantly loosing / accidentally breaking things. Not sure of it’s evidence base, but I can confirm I’m on my 5th pair of £100+ Bluetooth Earphones in 2023 😭 #ActuallyAutistic
