I’m interested in what would cause ICE to say “wait, we actually killed an American citizen by mistake.” The immediate reflexive “s/he deserved it” regardless of the evidence or video is disgusting.
If you’re a grown ass man in full tactical gear asking a child to show you ID or proof of citizenship you failed at life. Utterly & completely failed. Loser.
I said this last year, and I'll say it again:
Part of our responsibility as citizens is to make those working for ICE as miserable as possible.
Not just non-cooperation but actively looking for any non-violent and legal way to increase their stress and anxiety.
(thread)
If your relative or neighbor or an acquaintance in your community works for ICE, make life hard for them.
Be difficult as possible. Be tedious. Be exasperating. Be creative in your disdain and pettiness.
Shun them socially. If they work for ICE, they don't get to be around you. They don't get invited to family gatherings. No neighborhood parties at your home. They no longer exist in your social network. They are invisible to you. Treat them like they don't exist.
🚨BREAKING: Greg Bovino and his Border Patrol agents deployed toxic green chemical gas right outside a PARK AND PLAYGROUND, down the street from an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Minneapolis… immediately after dismissal.
And a school bus was forced to drive straight through the gas.
Sit with that.
Agents fired multiple canisters of green chemical irritant gas at Mueller Park, right down the street from Ella Baker Global Studies & Humanities Magnet School, just minutes after school let out…
As children were heading to the park and buses were actively transporting students home.
The gas spread across the playground, through the park, and into the surrounding residential blocks, while families and kids were on their way home from school.
And this wasn’t “normal” crowd control smoke, or even normal pepper spray.
This type of gas is linked to burning skin and eyes, coughing, vomiting, chest pain, and serious respiratory injury, with the risk of delayed and long-term lung damage.
It is especially dangerous for children, infants, pregnant people, and anyone with asthma or other respiratory condition… which is exactly why the U.S. military stopped using it decades ago.
And yet, it was deployed here.
In-front of a park.
Near a school.
At dismissal.
Instead of driving away from protesters, Border Patrol chose to stop. They got out of their vehicles, escalated a non-situation, and deployed chemical gas in a public park surrounded by homes, and an elementary school.
In the video, you can hear Bovino ordering people to “get back,” warning he would deploy gas…
Not because anyone was in front of their vehicles.
Not because they were blocked.
But because protesters were standing on public sidewalks, filming.
And Greg didn’t deploy the gas into the street…
Oh no.
They threw it toward the park. Agents threw it up next to the playground, forcing people to run.
Later forcing a school bus to drive straight through the smoke.
After gassing the area, agents walked onto the public sidewalk, assaulting people who were simply recording, then got back in their cars and drove away… leaving residents coughing and scrambling to escape the toxic chemicals.
And, to make this even worse…
Border Patrol has no crowd-control authority.
They were not executing an operation.
They had no legal justification to stop, escalate, or use chemical force.
Unless their “mission” was terrorizing a public park near a school, they had zero authority to stop and gas civilians.
This is what reckless, unlawful federal force looks like.
This is how communities are being terrorized, poisoned, and children traumatized.
And this is what happens when agents believe there will be no consequences.
They deployed toxic chemical gas at a public park, near a school, at dismissal, and drove away like it was nothing.
That should alarm everyone because nothing is stopping it from happening to you next.
ICE officer admits to sexually abusing detainee—for 3 straight months.
Between May and July he had sexual contact with her multiple times while she was under his "custodial and supervisory authority."
He initially groomed her by smuggling in pictures of woman's daughter—then more gifts including food, jewelry, and letters.
Other inmates were even bribed to act as his lookout when he planned to abuse the female prisoner.
David Courvelle, 56, faces up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000—but he was released on just a $10,000 bond.
The abuse occurred at the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center in Basile, Louisiana. #DemsUnited
🚨A CHRISTMAS TRAGEDY: Santa Claus’ sleigh shot down by U.S. Air Force over the Gulf of America on Christmas Eve. Secretary Hegseth has confirmed that Claus was smuggling a ton of Fentanyl and Florida bound. All aboard, including all reindeer, presumed dead.
@8USC12 It was a nonviolent misdemeanor from years ago…. And his green card application wasn’t denied. And again, he was three when he came to the U.S. 🙄
🚨BREAKING: ICE is now going after former DACA recipients… not because they’re dangerous, but because they’re easy targets to detain so private prisons can profit.
And this is what actually costs American taxpayers enormous amounts of money.
Detaining people who pose no public safety risk, who would normally never be detained at all, is wildly expensive… and taxpayers are the ones footing the bill.
Many former DACA recipients would typically be released, given bond, or allowed to remain free while their cases move forward.
But, under this administration, immigration enforcement has shifted toward one goal: hitting arrest and detention numbers.
When private prisons are paid per person, per day, every unnecessary detention becomes a revenue stream… and human beings become inventory.
And that is what happened to Ernesto Cuevas Enciso.
Ernesto came to the United States from Mexico in 1995. He was three years old. His baby sister, Miriam, was one. They grew up in Detroit. This is the only country he has ever known.
Ernesto previously had DACA, but lost that protection after old, nonviolent misdemeanors surfaced during a renewal screening… something that happens to many DACA recipients, even for minor offenses from years ago.
Today, Ernesto has legal work authorization through a different process and is actively pursuing a marriage-based green card. He is a construction worker, a husband, and the father of a one-year-old daughter.
While near a job site in Ypsilanti, an unmarked vehicle approached Ernesto and another construction worker. ICE detained both men.
Ernesto is now being held more than three hours from home at the North Lake Processing Center in Baldwin, the largest immigration detention facility in the Midwest. North Lake is operated by the private prison company GEO Group, which profits every single day Ernesto is kept locked up… while taxpayers pay the bill.
Families, attorneys, and civil-rights groups have repeatedly raised concerns about freezing temperatures, inadequate medical care, and barriers to contacting legal counsel at this facility.
Ernesto’s family and Michigan lawmakers are urging ICE to release him on bond. They’ve made it clear:
Ernesto is not a safety risk. He has been following the legal process, working, supporting his family, and trying to become a lawful permanent resident.
Instead, taxpayers are paying to keep a father away from his wife and baby… not because it makes anyone safer, but because detention numbers matter more than people.
This isn’t fiscal responsibility.
It isn’t public safety.
It’s cruelty… and it’s costing all of us.
Did you know that many are being denied medical attention & medicine in immigration detention? Does your family know?
Did you know people are dying in detention at record numbers?
Do your MAGA neighbors know?
Did you know that there's #ICELawlessness & people are denied rights & even tortured?
Incredibly bizarre and cruel story.
Tatjana Vesiolko WANTS to be deported, but ICE is holding her in detention without a valid explanation. She's been incarcerated for 11 MONTHS.
She was arrested while vacationing on Valentine's Day with her American boyfriend.
Tatjana is a Lithuanian national who overstayed her visa waiver in 2009. She was among one of the first people swept up in Trump's immigration enforcement campaign this year.
She has no criminal record and holds a valid Lithuanian passport. Lithuania accepts incoming deportees. Immigration attorneys say there are no obvious barriers to her removal.
With no avenues left to advocate to stay in the US, Tatjana was prepared to leave in June. Several months later, ICE still hasn't let her go.
Why are we wasting taxpayer money on arbitrarily detaining this woman?

This is Dulce Morales Diaz.
She’s an American citizen who’s been kidnapped by ICE
She was born in Maryland
Her attorney has provided proof that she’s a US citizen, but ICE won’t accept it
They were never going to stop with immigrants
🚨 PLEASE CONTACT YOUR REPRESENTATIVES. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. 🚨
If this can happen to her, it can happen to you.
The Department of Homeland Security is falsely claiming that a U.S. BORN CITIZEN is an “illegal immigrant.”
Her name is Dulce Morales Diaz.
She was born in Maryland.
Her attorney, Victoria Slatton, has indisputable proof of her U.S. birth, including official documentation.
And DHS is still refusing to recognize her citizenship.
Let that sink in.
This is not a paperwork error.
This is not confusion.
This is the federal government attempting to erase a citizen’s legal existence.
If DHS can simply ignore a birth certificate, ignore an attorney, and label a U.S. born woman “illegal,” then citizenship no longer protects anyone.
That means:
• Your papers are meaningless if the government decides they are.
• Due process becomes optional.
• Detention can be based on accusation, not fact.
• Citizenship becomes conditional, and revocable.
This is how authoritarian systems operate.
Not by changing the law first, but by pretending the law doesn’t apply.
This should terrify every American, regardless of politics.
Because if they can claim Dulce Morales Diaz is undocumented, they can claim the same about you.
