Tried a similar experiment for fun. Printed a hand. Using a pi and servo controller. Ran claude --dangerously-skip-permission. explained its environment with link to controller docs. In a few minutes fingers were twitching! Then few more prompts to get gestures and offsets working right

Today, we're putting together some low-cost robotic hands. This design is based on the RoninHand-1. Some modifications I've made include replacing the original springs with SMA wire, to great effect.
@ianpritchard Really struggling to get this print right 😅. Have used suggested settings, tried tweaking others but can’t get more than a few joints loose after cleaning as most are fused, clearance just seems too small. Any advice? Could be my cheaper printer

@loverofapps But as an immature small time dev the 15% on only sales seems like a total bargain if all your traffic is from AppStore search. But yeah it feels like they’re setting you up so they can milk you later when you’re big
i feel like the recent models and their capabilities support this workflow really well. i use this with gpt-5 + sonnet 1M a lot more for side projects these days
