IF schools don't all just close because we don't do the #cold very well here in #Texas, please take extra time to bundle up the kiddos to the max Tuesday morning.

Today or tomorrow: It is time to make sure you have sufficient antifreeze for your commutes next week. Winterize your pipes/spigots and plants.

Check on the elderly family, friends and neighbors that they are staying warm. Keep dripping the indoors faucets and keep your heater/furnace set at a minimum of 55 degrees F. Pet's peepee-poopoo breaks must be super fast and not left unattended.

This cold snap won't last long so no reason to panic. Winter precip is not expected to severely impact many folks either. Spotty accumulations of any sleet or freezing rain look to be minimal for now. #txwx #winter #coldfront
