This past weekend my team and I played in the Midwest Elite Invite Showcase in Marion, OH. We definitely played some very good teams and finished Top 8 going 2-1 in bracket play.
It wasn’t my best weekend but I kept taking each at bat one at time and trying to improve each time up. My final stats were:
AVG .357 (5 for 14)
OBP .438
2 Runs Scored
1 RBI
2 walks (both 10 pitch at bats)
1 stolen base
Contributed to 2 double plays

Thank you to all the college coaches that helped with Midwest Elite Camp on Thursday and all the
coaches that stopped by and watched us play!!!

Thank you to my coaches and my team. Not only did I earn 1st team all conference, I also received the Gold Glove Award (best defensive player) at our Awards Banquet last week. I am honored and I can’t wait until next spring to put on the Fairfield Jersey again!

Unfortunately we didn’t go as far as we wanted to in the state tournament but it was a great year . We finished 22-7 and Conference Champions. The team really bonded and we had a lot of fun along the way. We will miss our 2 seniors next year.

I was honored to be named 1st team All Conference! Thank you coaches.
