Did you ever see me fall down? I would fall down a good amount all throughout my life but when I was younger, I got good at it if you can imagine that, so I could fall down in such a way where I would not get hurt and I would pop back up. the beauty of youth, I guess. Now, that my body is getting old and starting to fail on me, I fear falling and the fear of falling causes me to get even more tight / spastic, which then lends itself to the possibility of me falling even more so that’s what I mean when I say it is a mental and physical vicious circle. I know I need to continue to fight to keep my independence, but I’m so darn tired.
