Fun fact - even with lights and sirens, emergency vehicle drivers must make sure an intersection is clear before proceeding through it, especially when making an otherwise illegal turn or going through a red light or they can still be held liable for causing an accident. Speaking as a former EMT.
The fire truck has some fault as well. Lights and sirens request the right of way - they do not provide immunity from responsibility when going through red lights etc, but he also turned from the center lane without making sure it was clear. The car’s driver is also at fault for not yielding to emergency vehicles.
@clownworld I don’t see the objection. No doubt people crawl out of the woodwork looking for a handout when you are wealthy. What he says he’s done sounds reasonable. Keep working, earn your own way.
