I don’t watch a single piece of love island,
let alone, UK’s version. All i know is Olandria. And now i need to know who this fine rude gyal is because YES! I love when a fine thing pack a nigga up!!!!!!!!!
mara using her teacher voice to drag scar in a composed manner was the highlight of this episode, calling him a waste man on national television & strutting away like the boss bitch she is. enjoy your free holiday doll #loveisland#loveislanduk
Olandria on the Omnicom panel:
“Authenticity does not mean you have to share everything. Don’t get me wrong, I humanize every part of my story. I never just share the good because no one’s life is all rainbows, right? If I only shared the good, I wouldn’t have the big support system that I have. I tell them the ugly parts of my story — how I got through college, how I had to fight my way to financially provide for myself to get that degree, because I’m a first-generation college student. I’m the first person in my family to even graduate high school. I’ve been paving the way for a very long time, and I’m continuing to do that. But when it comes to authenticity, I try to protect what’s mine. Anything that I can protect and have sacred means the most to me. Authenticity does not always mean you have to share all parts of you. There are a lot of things that people still don’t know, and maybe I’ll come out one day and decide to share those parts of me, but right now, I’m going to keep them safe.”

This is Gwoka, a vibrant tradition from the French Caribbean Islands of Guadeloupe 🇬🇵.
The creolized expression by enslaved African people during the seventeenth century, Gwoka was used as a form of communication and expression via music, song, dance, and cultural practices to celebrate and pass on the stories of Guadeloupean people and society.

Grateful beyond words to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone Africa this Juneteenth. A day that honors freedom, resilience, and the generations who paved the way makes this moment even more meaningful. This cover is bigger than me it's a reflection of the communities, dreams, and legacies that continue to move us forward. Happy Juneteenth❤️🖤💚
The world is in love with Olandria. And we are too.
