this is how i manage risk in environments like this

as a general rule of thumb, if i'm taking a range breakout trade then i put my stop on the other side of the range

in trending environments where i'm more confident of a breakout, i'll go tighter with the stop loss because if it's gonna go it's gonna go

in ranging environments, i go wider because i'm less confident of things continuing and in anticipation of chop, have a wider but next logical invalidation

for real though, start making sure you have access to some cash in the next few months

if this market does indeed drop really hard to these sorts of lows, it is always a wise bet to go in as much as you can on a major

i still think sol will hit $1000 in the next 10 years. i want it as low as possible since i missed out on it last time

better to put a grand in at $50 than waiting for it to go back up to $200 first

on the way up if you missed the big moves, you'd have been screaming for a >50% drop

just do what you can to have some capital available for the stink bids and hodl through all of the noise next time. your future self will thank you
